Robert McGee has been casting for nearly two decades. With his business partner Ruth Lambert at LAMBERT/MCGEE casting, he is currently casting the magical, Emmy-winning series starring the loveable David Henrie and adorable Selena Gomez. He’s also casting a hit animated series on Fox from the creator of “American Dad” and “Family Guy.”

This is an opportunity to showcase your finest work to one of the Industry’s most celebrated Casting Directors.

MON. – MAY 7th – 6:30 – 9:30 PM – WORKSHOP DAY – Diane chooses specific scenes for each actor. Scenes are appropriate for the monthly guest.
MON. – MAY 14th – 6:30 – 9:30 PM – WORKSHOP DAY – Diane will coach each actor individually and polish each scene for the showcase and workshop night with Robert.
MON. – MAY 21st – 6:30 – 9:30 PM – SHOWCASE DAY – Warm up with Diane. Robert arrives at 7:30 pm for your performance and gives you one-on-one feedback and individual attention and coaching. His training is so valuable!!
 

ALL THREE DAYS ~ ONLY $200.00 FOR NEW ACTORS AND $150.00 FOR ANY ACTOR CURRENTLY IN ANY CLASS WITH DIANE IN NOHO, Studio City or VALENCIA or PRIVATELY OR IF YOU PERFORMED IN THE LAST ACTORS PLATFORM.

We will showcase no more than 30 actors and I highly encourage actors ages 8 and up to hop on board for this extraordinary and one of a kind opportunity. We have had such phenomenal success with these workshops and we love to see how our actors’ careers blossom under the guidance of such prolific casting directors. A 3-Night Special Event with L.A.’s Favorite Comedy Teacher

Wednesday May 9th, 16th, and 23rd – 7:30-10:30pm

Exciting news! Gerry Katzman – voted Favorite Comedy Teacher in L.A. by Backstage Magazine and a busy actor (Comedy Central, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX) – is doing a 3-part comedy series for us that will effect your acting, auditioning, writing and self expression! Gerry’s students have appeared on Oprah, Last Comic Standing, Ellen, and Chelsea Lately.
This special 3-night event will include:

MAY 9th: IMPROV

In addition to getting us comfortable with some improv formulas and games- Gerry will walk us through an improv-based audition process he uses to book parts on unscripted shows like “Reno 911,” feature-films, and dramas.

 

May 16th: THE SECRET FOUNDATION OF STANDUP

Learning the tools of standup will make you more confident, funny, fearless and self expressed as a performer. This intensive will show you the secret mechanics of comedy and will get you thinking about your life (as a vehicle for your own projects) in a whole new way.

 

May 23rd: PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER

On the 9th we will explore improv and improvised comedy. On the 16th we will learn how to formulate intelligent, succinct, unique and insightful standup premises. On the 23rd, we will turn some of those premises into pieces that you can perform. Completing the circle of going from authentic topic to relatable premise to unexpected act-out will change you as a performer. It will be intense, it will challenge you, and like anything worthwhile, you will be glad you did it!
